1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EncounterReady ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EncounterReady provides AI-powered standardized patient simulations for educational purposes. The Service is designed for nurse practitioner students and faculty to practice clinical history-taking skills.

3. User Accounts

Faculty accounts require a valid .edu email address. Individual student accounts use self-chosen usernames. School students access the Service via anonymous codes provided by their faculty. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for legitimate educational purposes. You may not share access codes or credentials, attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use the Service for any purpose other than educational simulation practice.

5. Payment and Refunds

School seat purchases and individual subscriptions are processed through Stripe. All prices are in USD. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@JPLgrp.com.

6. Intellectual Property

Patient scenarios, evaluation prompts, and the overall Service are proprietary. Simulation transcripts and documentation belong to the student who created them, but we retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. School student access codes are anonymous — no personally identifiable information is collected from school students.

8. Disclaimer

EncounterReady is an educational tool. AI patient responses and evaluations are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be considered medical advice. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

EncounterReady and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
